As the Founder of Baby Boten, Carmit combines her extensive medical and administrative background with her passion for guiding intended parents and surrogates through one of life’s most meaningful journeys. She has a proven record of delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every phase of the surrogacy process is handled with clarity, empathy, and unwavering support.
Carmit works closely with gestational surrogates, fertility clinics, legal teams, insurance specialists, behavioral health professionals, and case managers to create a seamless, safe, and positive experience for all involved. Kat Maki, Case Manager
Kat is a compassionate Surrogacy Case Manager — and a former surrogate herself — giving her a unique understanding of the emotions, questions, and milestones involved in the journey. With a strong background in case management and patient coordination, she supports both intended parents and surrogates with clarity, empathy, and reliable communication.
Her firsthand experience, paired with her professional expertise, allows her to guide families through every step with confidence and care. Kat works closely with medical, legal, and support teams to ensure a smooth, organized, and positive surrogacy experience for everyone involved.
